A 35-year-old male presented with continuous backache and growing pain since 15 days. He was advised to undergo USG abdomen and reported three non-obstructive calculi of size 2 mm, 3 mm and 3 mm in upper, mid and lower calyx respectively of right kidney. In addition, a non-enhanced computer tomography (CT) showed a 4 mm hyperdense image in the right ureter topography and 4 mm hyperdense image in the left ureter topography suggested a diagnosis of multiple bilateral renal stones. After being treated with extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL) followed by tamsulosin 0.4 mg and drotaverine 80 mg, his clinical symptoms were resolved.
